Still waiting for those updates endlessly.
I would really like to see an explanation of what causes this. Curious if it is related to 2024.

all been working fine for me , all afternoon on Vatsim , had a great flight from LICJ to LEAL , strangely enough I tried it in the Fenix in msfs 2024 first to check it out so to speak and it CTD after taking off from Palermo…
Tried it in MSFS 2020 smooth as silk and a great session wit h lots of ATC in spain and the balearics !!
Just not going to happen, my next purchase is a pool table.
top tip for everyone : Maybe don’t buy 2024 unless you like shoving money down grids.
If you’re already in FS2020, then don’t quit the sim!

West Coast Canada here, unable to get past the checking for update screen.
This is unbelievable. Hopefully, they will quickly fix it.
How badly must that Software been if even the Game Start relies on Servers as apparently everyone in it right now has no Problems.
By your Software you’re ashaming the FS Community, no wonder why many People are going to Xplane atm.
This could be my fault folks .. been on 2020 since this morning (UK time) and shutdown to take a short break .. now waiting for updates screen ad nausium. I think my missus has had a word with microsoft to stop me from having any more fun today!

Same here in Italy . ms2020 stuck on checking for update . I disconnect all my community purchased
and it takes 37 minutes to get into the game . It seems to be a Microsoft server problem !!! But as usual no quick information from Microsoft/Asobo.

Does anyone know if Xplane has an offline mode or requires an internet connection? Might be time to make the switch back?
