If I prove to MS that I’m older than 18, can I have access to the military combat pilot career ?

Does not mean much really, it can be like the current landing challenge or learning path.
“Here is 30 pre scripted scenarioes in order, you have to finish last one to move on. Done with that path? Try another one».
We dont know. My reason for doubt is that they have included so many career paths that it looks like quantity over quality.
But lets see. I really want dynamic missions - a Aviation career I could pursue over long time - not a couple of scripted scenarios for each path.
Yes, I’ve not come across one that won’t work with it so far. The way it works is transparent to the data you are accessing, so why would it? And how does it manifest to you @MATSC133 ?
Neither is X-Plane unless you have the right license and have it connected to the right, supported hardware.
I would guess yes for two reasons. One, you can have both sim installed at the same time, and they won’t share the same file system. Two, if you no longer have MSFS installed, then logically you must download them again.
Jorg: That’s the goal. And you’ll see over the next year, we’re going to talk more and more about what MSFS 2024 really is. The approach we’re taking comes in layers and you can opt into the different layers, which is exactly how your life will be.
Life is just like that. You start by taking a job, like becoming a pilot for an airline, and then where does that take you? Some people end up founding their own company and flying tours around, or whatever it might be. And this is similar.
Another thing that’s important to us is that it’s truly worldwide, where people can opt-in. Back in the day, people made a few missions, say ten in California, and there were no other choices. That’s not what we’re trying to do. We’re embracing the fact that this is a worldwide audience. You have the entire planet and these activities are worldwide.
Can we have another name, please ![]()
FS 2024 reads really bad as it arrives by the end of 2024. Why not counting like X-plane 11,12…
Microsoft did it in the past with FS X
I’d fly, shall we say, an alternative offering for that.
MSFS is never going to catch up on all of the weapons systems and given its current apparent problems with controlling AI ground and air vehicles, you might not have too much to blow the daylights out of. ![]()
FS XXV
FS XXIV
That would be a surprise for sure!
Great to read, havnt seen that. That certainly gets me more optimistic
Since there are only 5 months to release, most of the aspects should already have been determined. So the new menu, UI, controller setups, etc are already there, waiting for to be revealed.
Or the living world (ships, vechiles).
It’s coming out in 2024. Hence the name FS24.
Farm Sim always comes out towards the end of the year, and has always been named with that year in the title…, fans of that game don’t seem to have an issue with the naming process.
I really don’t understand the hostility towards flight sim, Microsoft, Asobo, and everything that’s connected to them. Just get in an aircraft and enjoy the sim, people!
I got a months free game pass which I used to to try out FS2020 before I bought. Hoping I can do the same for 2024.
I’m sure we’ll get it in 2024 no matter what. It was made very clear last year that it would have to be released in 2024, and I’ll bet people’s bonuses depend on it, so they’ll make sure it happens before the end of the year. It’s very common for large software projects to deliver in late November or early December for just this reason. They get later and later until they hit the end of year bonus cutoff and then they have to be delivered.
I don’t care if they call it Happy Family Sky Game I’m just interested in how they are going to pull off any graphic improvements and additional layers of “play” while still running on an XBox
Maybe in the sense that I can play a ported version of Zorg on my Win11/ 64-bit PC.
MSFS2024 should use AI to generate mission content. It will be unlimited.
Ray tracing. Free up resources for use in other places.
