MS is not going to do that - as if only PC “matters” and X-Box is unimportant. If you were an X-Box player, I’m sure you wouldn’t say that.

Besides, if you really want SU15, you can have it today - all you have to do is join the beta. I’ ve been running the beta for weeks (on PC) and for me, it works fine.

Exactly this. They deserve this update just as much as anyone. In the spirit of being fair they shouldn’t have to wait because of the few who are impatient.

I too am in the beta and having a blast with it. It’s great to see how it is progressing along as well. I’m sure the end result for the update will be pretty darn good.

If it weren’t for Xbox, you’d never be playing it in the first place.

As has been stated above, WASM is broken, and as the A320 requires WASM to function correctly, there’s no way SU15 will release until it’s fixed.

And finally, as others have said, if you’re so impatient that you can’t wait, download the beta.

So I’m genuinely confused here. On one hand we have the “I’m tired of waiting” crowd, but we also have the “this update is a mess” crowd that speaks up when every update happens (this is not unique to this product, it happens with virtually every piece of complex software)

Would you rather have it right now, half baked? Or later, fully baked? If you’re on SU14 and have no issues, why would you want to update to what might be a buggy mess? If SU15 isn’t done, it’s not done. I would rather wait to get my pork cooked properly than get it quick and undercooked.

(Full transparency, I am on PC on the beta and other than typical sluggishness around crowded airports, I have not seen any big performance issues, and the CTD frequency I get is no different than pre-beta)

For anyone complaining and is on PC; did you actually read the patch notes?

This latest beta release has a fix for the DX12 terrain texture issues at airports. This is a long standing PC only (as far as I know) bug, and so far, it looks like this fix has been successful.

Look at the bigger picture.

This is the last SU we’re getting for MSFS2020 this year, so they have to get it right.

The long and short is there is an issue. No surprises there surely. There have been issues with some of not all sim updates so far hasn’t there. But they have been brave enough to hold it this time and for that we should be grateful but the communication is not great is it. But hey they are a big company and we are only customers so why should we be in the loop.

Inibuilds A320N V2 wasn’t affected by WASM issue. It has been working throughout beta testing. Like the A310 it has the WASM functionality built in so isn’t reliant on the separate WASM module that wasn’t loading correctly.

The a/c affected by the WASM issue gave a warning when you selected them. No such warning on Inibuilds A320 or A310.

Beta .15 introduced the WASM issue and the A320N V2 was still working and then we even got an update in .16 which has fixed a lot of other issues.

The news item today makes it sound as if the stuttering is an XBox only issue. I hope microsobo are aware that SU15 also stutters horribly on the PC, in my case certainly (VR user with top of the line hardware here).

Personally I’d rather they take all the time they need to get it right, especially since I’ve been having no issues with SU14. I can do without a buggy update, especially when they aren’t optional updates.

That’s good to know. From what I was reading it sounded like the A320 was impacted as well.

SU 15 Beta

1.37.16.0. was ok.
1.37.17.0 gives me 50% drop in FPS.

Clean your registers and disk and or restart PC. Sometimes a simple PC restart fixes that issue.

Asobo ALWAYS break something with every update so I wouldn’t hold your breath.
