FLIGHT DETAILS

Two pilots from Asobo Studio are currently participating in the Rallye Toulouse Saint-Louis, a celebration of the brave French aviators (including beloved author Antoine De Saint Exupéry) who pioneered airmail service between France, Morocco, and Senegal in the 1920s. The last stage of the flight, the return to Toulouse, coincides with our Community Fly-In. This week, our group will be completing a portion of the final stage, crossing the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France.

Pilots on PC can download the .pln file here:

We will be starting at LEZA. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

AIRCRAFT

Recommended aircraft: Robin DR400 Cadet, Cessna 172, CubCrafters X or NX Cub, JMB Aviation VL-3, Pipistrel Virus, Pilatus PC-6 Porter, or any other plane of your choice with a cruise speed of around 120 knots.

MULTIPLAYER SETTINGS

Please adhere to the following settings so you can see everyone / be seen by everyone.

Variable Setting
Server SE Asia
Multiplayer All Players
Live traffic As preferred
Weather Few Clouds
Time of Day Daytime

It is advised in this flight to turn off both aircraft collisions and terrain collisions. If you do crash, you can use “slew” mode to join the pack. If the pack will be too scattered before the first stop, we will use slew on a defined point to regroup.

COMMUNICATION

To communicate with others, a voice channel on the "Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Discord” at https://discord.gg/msfs will be available to join.

LET’S FLY

This is meant to be a fun and informal flight. Everybody is welcome, no matter the amount of experience.

Does it need to be south east asia server?

What what what! Not Canada! Pyrenees it is then. I’m able to join this week and in a mischievous mood.

Hope the moderators are ready to boot me out.

See you all at ten past the zulu seven.

I am new to this… do I need both discord and twitch? Once I put the settings in and show up at the specific time, will I see everyone? For sound do I just use discord and for video I use twitch?

Do I have to be on the Asia server to join this or does it not matter which server?

You do not need either, just the sim, but it is usually helpful to tune into the Twitch stream if you want to follow along with the hosts!

You will need to be on the SE Asia server if you’d like to follow along in multiplayer with the other planes. Cheers!

Really
This bugged baby is barely able to climb faster than 200ft/min!

While I was only able to fly for the last 20 mins…I still had a good time.

THANK YOU!!

Great flight, THX.
Wonder why france looks that much better then other regions, e.g. Canada?

:rofl: love the last picture not a single mention of this problem, WU11 or stupid game ready driver during their chat that I’m aware of. Either Thier oblivious or dint want to mention any of it.

Friday streams are for a bit of fun with community members, not for delving into technical issues.
