[Official] Community Fly-In Friday: World Tour Stage 38: Vilnius to Warsaw

We will be hosting an Official Fly-in alongside a group of community members (you!) on Twitch. This is an open event, free to all who would like to fly along with us and available to pilots of all skill levels. The goal is to have a great time, explore new locations of the world, and make new friends. This event is open to pilots on both sim versions (MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024) and both the PC and Xbox platforms.

FLIGHT DETAILS

The Community Fly-In Friday World Tour continues, and now for the first time in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as well!

In this week’s stage, we’ll pick up where we left off back on November 15, starting in Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania and flying into Poland where we will make our full-stop landing in Warsaw.

For many new pilots from MSFS 2024 who might be joining the World Tour for the first time, please note that you do not have to complete all the prior legs of the tour to join this stage! This event is open to everyone whether you’ve been with the World Tour from the very beginning or if this is your first time joining one of our official weekly group flights!

MSFS 2024 Pilots on both PC and Xbox can import the flight plan from the new Flight Planner tool by clicking this link: Flight Planner

You can find instructions on how to load a flight plan from the Flight Planner website to your in-sim EFB on your PC or Xbox console on our forums here.

We will be starting at EYVI. Please load your aircraft 10 minutes prior to take off and taxi over to the runway in preparation for departure.

AIRCRAFT

Recommended aircraft: Cirrus SR22, Diamond DA62, Extra 330LT, Pitts Special, Joby S4, or any aircraft of your choice with a cruise speed of ~150 knots.

Please adhere to the following settings so you can see everyone / be seen by everyone.

COMMUNICATION

To communicate with others, a voice channel on the "Official Microsoft Flight Simulator Discord” at https://discord.gg/msfs will be available to join.

It’s a shame that i joined in late, because i completely forgot abut it, and sadly i joined when everyone was already in Poland. But it’s nice that you guys flew over my house (probably) around EYKS. Don’t have any in game photos made today, so i’ll just share some of my photos taken in that airfield, mostly from the annual aviation show from this year and 2021.

I joined yesterday the first time. I enter with xbox version of FS 2024.

At ground, I could see many planes of differnet type. But in air I saw, except the ‘big’ airliners, only the player ID and sometime the aircraft information.

Since I never join in FS2020 I could not say, what is normal , my setup, may be a problem of joining FS2020 and FS2024 or a bug in FS2024.

Unfortunally I can’t share the photos stored in the album. But I will return and try again.

At this moment while reading your post i am airborne with the Longitude and having those nametags off. In FS2020 most had custom labels and i am hoping having it soon for FS2024. Personally i had my labels showing only airplane model and flight level. For the group flights i enabled the player name too.
With this simple tool we all used in FS2020 it had to be in the new FS2024 same counts for the pushback tool.
