Ah that flightplanner bug since day one is still killing me…
What a ■■■■… MCDU is programmed for NOLGO DH406 (NOLGO1D Transition into ILS15 at EDDH) and look at this… complete nonsense.
The point is that there are a ton of NEW imperfections that simply did not exist pre-sim update 5. Yes, they are all immersion killing. They took away the beauty that we had for 11 months of course I’m not going to be happy about that and will be here every day lobbying for a fix.

Are you saying that a complete reinstallation of files solves some crashes?
Well sorry I have to say it but not for me and not for many others. So I’m not saying that you don’t run into issues, but it seems to be quite specific and not widespread. Im looking at many pictures with no banding in this topic namely.
So I would suggest to document with pictures and make a ticket with which they can hopefulky pinpoint the issue.

I’ve not had to reinstall the sim since the sim’s original launch day. Every update, patch, hotfix since has worked for me. I’m genuinely baffled why so many here seem to have gone through countless install/uninstall episodes.

Blimey, I make that about 29 hours of flight time a week every week since release, no wonder you are spotting stuff! With a full time job and family I have only managed 160 hours since August year…

There is a solid black line in the middle the horizon that goes across the screen.
It’s very noticeable.
Could have to do with people who have installed the sim across multiple drives and point to the wrong update folder during install. Could be a specific bug too. I had it once as well. For no apparent reason. The installer needs to be fixed. i agree with that.
Yeah its a shame since I only use the in built ATC. Guess no other option than to wait for another fix.

I too now have noticeable colour banding in the sky - dissappointing 
Again a lot of people simply do not notice the changes, and great for them go enjoy the sim. But they are definitely there as my download is no different than yours. Everything is getting documented as I have hundred of gigabytes of pre-sim update 5 videos (I record 100% of my flights) and can easily reference them to compare.

That’s interesting. It seems that the Xbox renders the Portsmouth area better than the PC version.
I flew over yesterday evening post hotfix 2 and it looked awful with many buildings missing. The guildhall steps looked like a pile of rubble.
If it wasn’t widespread, they wouldn’t be trying to fix it. I’m so tired of the attitude “if it doesn’t affect me, it doesn’t exist or isn’t widespread”

■■■■■■■■■■■, then you must spend almost as much time flying each week as I spend working. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, work is the curse of the flight simming classes… I clearly need to find a way to reverse the amount of time I spend reading this forum vs actually flying!

Since updating I now see “Press any key to start” on PC and when I press a key it seems to register it but the same message flashes up again. Nothing in Community folder.
I’m currently on desk duty and I get to have my laptop so I’m flying at work nearly 8 hours a day. And that’s if I don’t fly at home.
