Please use this thread to post your impressions and feedback about the Top Gun: Maverick DLC, available now as a free download from the in-sim Marketplace.

If you have any bugs related to this content to report, please create a new thread in the Bugs & Issues section of the forum.

Known issue: after installing the Top Gun: Maverick DLC from the Marketplace, the Maverick activities tile may be grayed out and non-clickable. You can resolve this by clicking any other tile (e.g. World Map) or Profile then returning to the Welcome screen.

I got a 20MB update then the splash screen says Top Gun Maverick edition. Can download it now via Marketplace it’s a 4.79GB file. Gonna fly around in VR hoohaa. Gonna see the movie on Friday!

is there any detail of what is included with that DLC?

Training Missions.
Low level stuff
Carrier landings
Maverick Livery
New hypersonic aircraft that you can fly into the stratosphere.

Try log out of store and xbox app. Restart pc (or console) and log back in.

New plane, limited visibility woohoo! ;p F/A 18 no improvements other then the ‘Top Gun Skin’. Same things that should work dont, more hype then quality IMHO.

Easy Method, no need to search for it.

After starting MSFS and the initial Top Gun Update is installed.
Go to ACTIVITIES> Click on the Top Gun box.

Click Selected Item(s).

Click Get and Download.

Install and then restart MSFS.
Best to restart your xbox/pc also.
