[OFFICIAL] Weekly Dev Update Screenshot Challenge - Aviation Safety

It’s time for another screenshot challenge! The idea is to collectively explore different parts of the world together - areas that may be very familiar to you or perhaps a new place you have never flown before. Feel free to find others to fly with to capture the challenge, or go solo!

Last week’s winner from Small but Mighty Ponds and Lakes : syokatunofu (Twitter)

This Week’s Challenge

Aviation Safety: Be creative and showcase your best screenshots that highlight the people and systems who work tirelessly to make sure aviation remains the safest way to travel.

This week’s theme of Aviation Safety was requested by Pommes L on behalf of the Japanese Microsoft Flight Simulator community. Pommes wrote, ‘We have important history related to the Japanese aviation industry. As you might know, this is Japan Airlines 123 on August 12th, 1985. We think about aviation safety on August 12th every year and thank the people who work in the aviation industry.’

If you have any screenshot challenge ideas for the future, send @Jummivana a DM!

Rules

  1. Any time of day
  2. Any type of weather
  3. Code of Conduct appropriate liveries
  4. Default aircraft and scenery, or aircraft and scenery from the MSFS Marketplace
  5. Up to 10 entries (screenshots) allowed

The rest is fair game! Use your creativity! We will pick the top 11 shots. 1 will be featured as the main photo of the next dev update and the other 10 will be featured in the community section.

You may also add a watermark or username to your image if you wish.

How To Submit Your Screenshot

Just post them below here in this thread, or if you’re on Twitter you can tweet your photo with the #MSFSchallenge hashtag!

Note: This thread is for screenshot submissions only. Unless you have a particular question about the challenge, please do not engage in casual conversation here. Thank you!

On the 21st of March this year, China Eastern flight MU5735, type Boeing 737-800 crashed into Tengxian, Guangxi Province, China, marking the end of 4227days without fatal airliner crash in China. In the afternoon of the 23rd of March, the CVR, one of the two black boxes were found, being brought immediately to Beijing for analysis by a China Eastern Boeing 737-700. I am trying to recreate the scene when this plane bring the black box and land on runway 18R of ZBAA.
I have my best wishes to the aviation safety and also appreciate to the people working on air crash investigation.

Hey!! Nice to be part of the screenshot challenge again! Safety always first!

Enjoy, Filippo
