Update still not available on marketplace?

Maybe today?

:crossed_fingers:

Fingers crossed

I never knew you could display the flight plan in the weather radar screen. Is this a new v2 feature? Does it only work with the new UNS-1?

I don’t think it’s realistic as this map looks exactly like a flight plan page from GTN 750 unit.

Our sale is independent to the sale that MS choose to run. The prices and dates don’t always correlate. Our sale started much earlier than the MP sale and ended earlier. Our discounted price was slightly cheaper than the price on the MP I believe. So it’s rare the two sales and indeed prices when discounted will be the same.

Hope that helps.

Quick update for you about the V2 update on marketplace - Unfortunately the update did not arrive in time with MS to facilitate a release this week. The situation is exacerbated further given the inclusion of WASM code in this aircraft so the process takes even longer. All systems go now though and they have indicated that barring any major issues, and along with our assistance, the update will be available as part of next Thursday’s updates. So that’s going to be the 18th April.

Hope that helps, or at least offers some background as to how things stand.

Could you please confirm if Xbox will receive the update simultaneously with PC? Many thanks.

Yes that’s what we’ve submitted and planned for. As long as there are no issues that MS uncover.

Any ETA for the ATC / UNS1 bug? that has the 146 referenced to 0ft instead of clearance altitiude?

To be honest I don’t know if it is a new feature or not.

I only recently bought the BAE 146 (a few days or so before version 2 became available) and I am just beginning to get to grips with it. I only use the UNS-1 and I get the FP using that. I couldn’t say though if you still get it with the other FMS :slightly_smiling_face:

Honestly, this is not an issue for me but thank you for the reply :slightly_smiling_face:

On a slightly different note I would like to say that I am finding this AC very immersive which is surprising me since I am mainly a GA simmer.

I’m not an expert with tubeliners by any means but to me it just feels right and I am enjoying it immensely. It’s definitely not a boring AC that you can leave for half an hour or so and still expect it to be up in the air.

At the moment, this is my favorite AC. That might change though when you release the Dukes presumably some time after Asobo releases SU 15 :slightly_smiling_face:

Is anyone else finding that when starting each engine (from C&D) you often need two goes at hitting ENGINE → START before the engines actually start/respond to a start?

I hear the engine start being triggered but nothing happens so you have to repeat the engine start button press. It’s not always, or indeed with every engine or one engine in particular, and seems random at times, but it does happen just about every time I start up the engines on this version.

Can someone remind me if there is a firing sequence. I usually start with 4,3,2,1, but have tried 4,1,2,3 etc with no improvement in the need for re pressing the start switch.
It’s been a while since I used the 146 version prior to v2, so can’t remember whether this was the case before or if it is just a v2 thing. I seem to remember historically being able to just hit engine start once for each engine though.

Not personally had this happening. Working okay for me. My engine start sequence is 4,3,2,1 FWIW.

Maybe it’s the way I’m hitting the start button. Usually mouse scroll wheel up instead of left mouse press. The button does move and engage though (sounds are heard, panel lights come on), maybe it’s not long enough before the switch flips back to center.

I don’t know if it does make any difference but I engage the button with left mouse press :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m more used to the maddog where it requires a scroll wheel action on the mouse to start the engines!

I used to encounter this and thought it was just me imagining it! I’m still not sure whether it just takes ages for each engine to start or whether a second go actually manages to spur them into action.

I’ve tried leaving things to settle after previous engine start up, but it doesn’t seem to matter. I do usually encounter it on the 2nd engine start rather than the first. Whenever I do a 4,1,3,2 type start #1 engine always requires two starts, it’s quite repeatable. Hence I was wondering about firing sequence. But I suspect it’s probably just me and my mouse scroll.
