You’re not going to find any active Got Friends mods on .to anymore, and official support for all avionics replacements has ended, so your only option really is to find someone who has it that could PM you a link or something. But remember as Jonx warned above, it will replace all of the code, so it will break some things. Even more so if the version you receive wasn’t the UNR version.
Avionics will all start coming back after SU15, per what Jonx has said on Discord. A lot of it is just waiting to see what will change as the SU Beta is ongoing.

I think they are talking about changing to supporting the gtn750 natively instead.

To whom it may concern: For my ongoing pursuit to cross the atlantic with the Got Friends Wilga (for further information and progress update see this thread), I did some extensive testing to optimise the range of the Wilga (80P Version with the Vedeneyev M-14P engine).
It turned out, that she likes it low and slow. High altitudes above 1,000 ft decreased range, same with regimes above 80 KIAS cruising speed. But excessive leaning down to 20% Mixture turned out to be most effective:
(Ranges here are theoretical values with proposed 100% fuel use and no safety margin)
Or if you just stick to the manifold pressure: Go for around 6 mmHG at low altitudes, lean mix and around 80 knots:

You can achieve a range of over 1,000 km (with 10% fuel remaining) when leaning to 20%, maintaining 80 KIAS around 1800 RPM and staying below 1,000 ft. I don’t think that the flight model matches the real world performance in this regard (although it fits the general characteristics of the Vedeneyev M-14P according to its manual) and I am not sure, what prolongued flight with such a flight regime would do to a real enginge, but my challenge is with the simulated bird and this will get me safe through the oceanic legs and the 340 nm across Greenland without a ferry tank!

Is the Wilga considered a STOL plane in the same vane as say the Savage Carbon? I’m kinda obsessed with flying into small airstrips in difficult terrain at the moment (Got Friends STOL Academy is great for this) and wondering what payware taildraggers would be good for this sort of flying? Is the Wilga one to consider?

This is the taildragger that you are looking for. Specifically the 80X. You will not be disappointed lol.
A very good STOL plane is the Bagolu’s C172 taildragger.
There are two variants, one with the G1000 panel another with the classic gauges (this one only if you have the Asobo C172 with steam gauges provided in Deluxe or Premium editions of MSFS).
You can find many liveries for it.
The chocolate topping is it’s free ! No reason to not give it a try.
See for yourself (note this is the 80X with the 450HP engine):
Nice! What about short landings though? What’s her stall speed?
Stall speed of the X is about 38 kts I guess. Maybe a bit less. Depends on wind of course.
I fly Willy in the eSTOL Championship and she does me proud
I’m in the Touring class though. The Unlimited class has shorter T/O and stopping distances but I can still do around 95ft for each if I get everything nailed.
Having said that there are some flight model changes being done so this may end up being more like 140ft.

It’s so great for that. Really able. It’s a deceptively big and heavy bird but the massive strong suspension and legs can take a battering and really soak up heavy landings.
Trick is to move throttle and prop pitch together. I have two levers on my Warthog throttle for them so I can move them independently or linked with same hand (left). You can come in with full flaps on the stall horn buzzer then cut the power and prop whilst also retracting flaps fully and she comes down and stays down. Hold the stick back and brake. She isn’t going to lift again and you can stop almost instantly (well not really but it feels like it lol). Very reliable.

Official Wilga 35/80 Series Update: Version 1.1.1.
GTN-750 Owners, Sky4Sim Users, and Navigation Lovers Rejoice!
CRITICAL INFORMATION: Same Critical Reminder as last update. If you are using any old Wilga Navigation Replacement Packages (I.E, gotfriends-wilga-gtn-750, gotfriends-wilga-sky4sim, etc.), please delete them from your Community Folder prior to using this new update. Also please do not overwrite the new Wilga update on top of the old Wilga folder. Just delete “gotfriends-wilga” from you Community Folder and drag the newly extracted “gotfriends-wilga” to your Community Folder. Overwriting add-ons is a major mistake that is slowing being accepted as common practice. This is never the case and many of our support requests are due to individuals overwriting folders instead of doing a fresh “drag-n-drop” install. Our updates never include individual files. When you download a new version, you are downloading the full aircraft. This ensures nobody is running hybrid versions for bug-log tracking purposes.
SERVER SPEEDS: We have received multiple reports throughout the last year that installing new updates is slow on our download servers. For this Wilga update, we are trying a new approach. If you download directly from the “Update Email” you still we be downloading from Amazon Web Services. Thus, you may encounter slow download speeds. However, if you log into your Got Friends account on our Website and download directly from your Purchase Order History, you will now be redirected to a new download server. If this method proves successful and download speeds are reported to be higher, we will transition all of our aircraft to this new download server in the future. However, this is not a guarantee and we are excited to see how the new download link performs under pressure. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for the slow download speeds in the past.
FUTURE OF NAVIGATION: This is the first major milestone in our shift from Replacement Packages to building features into the aircraft by default. With this Wilga update, you no longer have to worry about downloading Replacement Packages in the future. As long as you have PMS-50 installed or you have Sky4Sim installed, you will have these optional features available to you in the Wilga by default. This will increase our speeds on updating the Wilga in the future and allows you to simply download the update without worrying about additional files.
OFFICIAL CHANGELOG: Version 1.1.1.
- Navigation Overhaul with Additional Options
- New GTN-750 Switch (Now Available in All Variants)
- New Sky4Sim Switch (Now Available in All Variants)

ADDITIONAL UPDATE NOTES:
- 35X/80X Does not have a 2nd Aera System. This is “by design” due to MSFS limitations. However you can use the Aera Tablet with an additional Sky4Sim Tablet using the new Sky4Sim Switch.
- TDS GTN-750XI is no longer supported due to conflicts and complexity of our current HTML design. We will look for better solutions with future updates.
- Due to the complexity of G-BUNC’s Special Avionics Livery, the GTN-750, Sky4Sim and Flight Director are not available while using this Livery. Also, we would like to keep this aircraft true to it’s original real-life depiction and not alter from it’s historical significance.

So you issue an update and tell us TDS will no longer work, but now it might? Maybe in another 30 minutes you can confirm one way or the other
It won’t work default with our setup. I am not wrong on that.
It may work as an additional replacement package (as it use to be). Which I’m trying to incorporate now using the new 3D model and coding that went into this update.
I understand you’re concerned.
Our main goal is to move away from replacement packages, but I know the community is ride or die about where they have options. That’s why I’m willing to put out another replacement package for everyone even though the end goal is to get it incorporated into the aircraft as default.

Ah ok. Happy to wait then, thanks
Yes please. Personaly, I find the TDS better in many ways. I was excited by the update then I read about the TDS not being supported.
Still love the plane a lot.
Baracus is only being modest and humble here. He won the last two competitions in his class! Congrats!

Wilga Version 1.1.1. | GTN-750XI Replacement Package
This will still require a temporarily download until next Wilga Update
After working directly with TDS Support, we managed to find the discrepancy causing the compatibility issues with the Wilga. We will update our coding and get this built-into the Wilga as a default option for the next update.
For now, we have released a “Wilga 35/80 Series | GTN-750Xi Navigation Replacement Package” on our official website that TDS users can download now.
This still works using the old method. So you will need to extract the replacement package “gotfriends-wilga-gtnxi” and drag it into your community folder so it is sitting next to “gotfriends-wilga”.
Cheers and thank you for your patience.
