I don’t know where to find the feedback forum to 3rd party developers outside of SU3. Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this boat I would be happy.

In the river the thing just crashed for no reason, nothing in the water, no bridges, no ducks and basically no idea why!

Very humorous really as it acts like an aircraft once it crashes and restarts mission in the sky - see pics

Once it reaches this point it continually crashes on a loop because it obviously has no wings :joy:

Anyway, I was keen to try this as someone posted a gentle trip down a river so I bought one in the marketplace but I can’t recommend it! Not if it continually crashes into thin air. Controls are confusing and not intuitive.

Much like ground vehicles, boats (on rivers at least) are in a sorry state because the sim doesn’t support them well. If the boat or ground vehicle hits the enormous hit box of a tree or potentially even smaller plants, even with crash detection fully off, it will launch into the air. These developers might do good work, but the sim they are making these products for is not capable of providing a good open world experience. For boats, the ocean or a larger lake should be fine. For vehicles, custom tracks or wide open deserts work, but roads and backcountry are essentially a no-go.

At the least, do turn crash detection off, but it might not prevent all issues.
