Just completed a few flights in VR and this thing is great! Love how it flies and love how it sounds.
In my book, Taog has the 3 best helicopters available in MSFS.
Controversial opinion maybe but the Lama is still my favourite of his three.
Not controversial at all, when you make something that good, it is hard to beat it!
What I like about all three of his three releases is they all have their own unique character. A good few others don’t.
Is the throttle assignable in this? And if so which axis assignment does it use?

I’m on the fence about getting this. I don’t fly helicopters often but this one looks really good and it’s a Huey after all. I wonder if this is worth it though for a primarily fixed wing pilot.

And yes, it is absolutely worth it!
It’s very stable and once you are cruising you can basically fly it like a fixed wing.

Does fortunate son come preloaded in my headset for the proper flying experience? It does look like a blast to fly, and the sound seems spot on. That is my favorite thing about the Huey, best sounding helicopter ever in my opinion.
One turn is all you need. Once you hear that blade slap, you will be very glad you bought it. It seriously threw me back to the last time I actually heard one flying. Amazing sounds.
You are 100% correct. I bit the bullet last night and spent a lot of time just flying it. It was so much fun to cruise around in. I won’t be winning any awards for my piloting skills 
but I had a blast. It sounds exactly right, there is one at an airport close to me that flies regularly and this one from Taog almost made me forget it wasn’t a real one.
