Toolbar Pushback

https://flightsim.to/file/19844/where-is-my-■■■■-community-folder

Checked also the console via developer menu. It indicated that the package was loaded succesfully. Does it have something to do with the latest update which i did yesterday?

You can also do that simply by go to developer menu open community folder. That’s the one is always correct.

And the flybywire A32nx mod is also correct loaded and updated. :+1:t2:

Thanks guys for the feedback and helping each other.

Please note, that version 1.4.1 of Toolbar Pushback requires the latest version of the sim. In case you did not update the sim yet, please do so. Several people reported issues where the add-on did not appear in their toolbar, and it turned out they were running an older version of MSFS.

Finally it works. Two additional comments to the installation:

  • Instruction on flightsim.to is not correct. " Extract the zip file into the [community folder]

When the file is unzipped, you have to put the SUBFOLDER in your community folder.

  • use the correct community folder. See Developer mode >> Tools >> Virtual File System >> Community folder. That is always the correct one

Thanks for any help given!

That was it! Thank you.
I had done several small scenery and utility items to the community folder so I was taking those out one at a time… man.. and rebooting, which is a long process.

so I searched and found your post!!

THANK YOU!!!

Sometimes the audio repeats itself 2 or 3 times for me. Anyone able to solve this?

Very cool. Just out of interest, do you know if that hanger is available on Xbox?

@dutchflight738 Thanks for the feedback.

@PancakeAgent The duplication of the audio is related to the sim AI Traffic. Either lower or disable AI Traffic in the sim settings to stop this from happening. If you have a traffic add-on this might also be interfering. If using the AIG traffic mod, untick “extra ground traffic” in the airport manager settings. Please note that the Interactive Pushback Audio is still in experimental state.

I’ve used this with no issues in the past and I just cannot work out what I’m doing wrong with the latest version.
I note I have two toolbar icons - pushback and the planner. I can open the planner and create a plan, but on hitting ‘enter’ it just closes the window.
Clicking the original icon for pushback does nothing.

Any guidance on what I may be doing incorrectly?

You’re likely using the Wingman UI mod. If that’s the case, please update the mod to the latest version, as it’s now compatible with Toolbar Pushback.

Aah thanks. I’m not but think I recently enabled the no handlebar mod. Let me check!

confirmed - nohandlebar mod was the issue

Enjoying the mod and I use it for all my airliner flights.

Will there be a fix for the plane disappearing from the map during planning the pushback? I use the workaround of resizing the map to get it to reappear, but it happens fairly often to me.

Cheers!

I wonder if anyone can help me with something here. Is there a trick to get it perfectly align with the position and heading that I want on the pre-planner mode?

When I set my pushback and it’s on the position and heading that I want on the map, but as soon as I start the pushback the end position is always off. Like it’s not facing the direction that I set in the planner, and also stopped before the position that I set in the planner as well.

@OneFang666 Thanks for reporting back.

@BigCow74 Yes, this will be fixed.

@Neo4316 Simply add an extra waypoint shortly behind the end of your planned path to give the tug some headroom to align itself with the endpoint you set. So basically add a duplicate of your last waypoint just a little bit behind it.

Hello, I installed the folder “ambitiouspilots-toolbar-pushback” into my community folder but no matter what I try, I never see the icon in the toolbar of msfs.
As far as I can find on the internet, no one has had the same problem. That’s why I come to you to help me out.
thanks in advance.

How to add an extra waypoint?

1 Drag mouse around to adjust tug direction → double-click left mouse button

2 Drag mouse around to adjust tug direction → use scroll wheel to turn aircraft → double-click left mouse button
