Why are the trees so messed up in north LA, US. Half the trees are complete blobs. Is there a setting to fix this? I have fast internet and a 5080 and live in the US. Has Asobo not fixed the trees that look like polygons?
This really kills the immersion as well as being plain ugly.
Yep, looks pretty bad in those areas including Van Nuys airport.

Try @bijanstudio Seasons Enhanced 2024 - V3.2 | Bijan Studio He does a FANTASTIC job cleaning up some of the photogrammetry garbage. He just recently updated the LA area and as someone that flies regularly around the LA area IRL, I can attest to the great job he has done. His work is only getting better!
This is a very common issue all around the MSFS2024 world and is very immersion breaking.
Somewhat laughable that a game at this price level would have something like this so blatantly neglected.

My Personal Comment & Observation
I would second @FlyngWithJay 's comment about @bijanstudio 's Seasons Enhanced 2024 - V3.2. The product is also available in the Marketplace. The developer is very responsive to user requests (see the product’s disussion thread here).
Recommended, though please do not expect every photogrammetric blobby tree world-wide to be removed. Generally, only the most egregious examples and those requested by users have been replaced.
In this particualr case, the airport at Burbank still has blobby trees, though (ignore the snow - this is just a custom preset set for a location further north):
Van Nuys (KVNY) is similarly still afflicted:
Turn off photogrammetry. It does a terrible job with trees and the only fix is to shut off photogrammetry and then put up with generic buildings:etc Or buy some scenery from a developer for that area. The sim has had this problem for a long time and I don’t think is a priority to fix it given the many posts about it over the years.

Anyway , SU5? That’s probably 6 months to a year away. Just got SU4. #96 on the list…that’s actually funny, if it didn’t make me cry.
