What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

Completed my flight in the H145 from Rothera Research Station to Fossil Bluff. What a blast it is flying that!

I had to hand fly it as haven’t figured out the autopilot yet! :joy: only 1 hour 44mins…

Quite easy to take off and cruise, landing was -38fpm, but still getting used to it, took me a while to get it nice and steady.

Good news is there is plenty of room to land huge aircraft here, so that will be a nice challenge in the DC6.

Maybe we will see a nice iniBuilds A300-600(F) or A310 sometime…

Waiting for me to show me around!

Can now build a small base here in Air Hauler 2 and start transporting cargo in and out of here.

Hit a Pot-Hole in the Runway? Bad Luck. Nice Pictures though. No sarcasm intended. I hope you did not get a crash note.

Blue Sky Twins
Chumphon (VTSE) Thailand, to Hua Hin Aero (VTPH), Thailand.

Since the flight was a short one, I stayed low.

Staying low might have been a mistake. Thought I am flying in a Washing Machine.
Bumpy as as bumpy can be :woman_facepalming:

Some of the Regional Airports are really nice. This one was right by the Beach.

This place got character. Reminds me a little of home.

Sunset at Buffalo NY as I make my approach…

I get clearance I go to land and see this fellar just sitting there, so I used the taxiway to land:

Today I flew from Heraklion to Port Said (LGIR to HEPS) which was the last leg of the first part (London to Suez) of ‘Around the World in 80 days’ - this first part finishes Dec 31st so I made it! I’m flying the Just Flight Piper Arrow III so it’s taking a while - most are flying more powerful planes. Here’s a pic of my co-pilot and colleague Jean Passepartout (read the book or watch the flim or the recent TV series). He may look like an MSFS co-pilot but he’s in disguise…

. Next is Suez to Bombay in 13 days - about 3,000 miles so around 30 hours flying. I’ve seen very little traffic though - is there a setting I need to change? I have ‘AI Offlline’ set in ‘Aircraft Traffic Type’ in General Options. AI Aircraft Traffic Density is set to 50%, Live Real World Traffic set Off

Reykjavik to Tromso, now that Dakfly updated his excellent FDE mod and the WT G3000 is behaving!

:clap::smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Yea! I know the feeling

:+1: Nice Pictures, as always. Thanks :+1:

No crash. Prop might be a little shorter.

Approaching MMFA (Real Del Castillo airfield, Mexico)

Ahem… The Wheels…Yea…:+1: Cool. Did you get these off your Truck? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Overhauling the interior of the muscle car the Dodge Charger of the skies, the Carenado M20 Ovation.

How would a more grey-ish cockpit look like? The panel can be beige, brownish or grey. Let´s have a look!

Nice texture bugs in the background scenery, very catchy and screenshot-friendly

Haha! Bush wheels ftw. That airfield MMFA is a dirt strip so I picked this bushwheel C172

The Carenado team are the grand masters at visuals. Their airplane interiors and exteriors are amazing. Good work on the panel, the grey looks much nicer.

A not so gentle flight over the Alps into Venice yesterday

Texturing the Carenado M20 Ovation is finished. Finally the same grey-tone for the upper and lower half of the cockpit panel.

Ready to buy and texture the Carenado Seneca!
Why is the Seneca not on sale during the holidays?

The only visible problem are the completely irrealistic clouds.

tested the CJ4 “hold” function today.
worked like a charm

Today I took on my second leg journey of New Zealand and wow did I take on a challenge.

I flew NZMO to NZMF and didn’t expect this

If you need a challenge then this is the one - stunning

Started a shorter trip in China and arrived in Japan at sunrise.

Blue Sky Twins Travel Tales.

Kamp (VTBK), Thailand, to Chiang Mai Intl (VTCC),Thailand.

Getting ready to leave Kamp.

On the way to Phitsanulok (What a name).

I just like these Regional Airports in Thailand.

Bad news and leaving Phitsanulok in somewhat of a hurry.

Flying high and fast. What happened?
My Twin Sister was being recalled to Company HQ. The plan was for her to accompany me to Africa, flying the DA62. Now she will leave me in India…taking the DA with her, leaving me without an Aircraft. No, I am not happy.

Chiang Mai Intl. Chiang Mai is my favorite city in Thailand.
Anyhow…I was not in a mood to fly, so my Sister did. I attempted to persuade her to leave the DA to me and take a commercial flight home…but she would not. But she agreed for me to text our Indian HQ and request another Aircraft. Grrr…older sisters are bossy…even if they are only 3 minutes older.
:wink::smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
Happy new Year… I will be flying high on the way to India.
