Approaching a storm cell and downpour in West Germany - real-time, real-weather, a couple of days ago
Fog hovering above ground during an early morning mission in Hawaii, U.S.A. - real-weather, real-time
Shiraz (OISS) to Dubai (OMDB) in the HondaJet
Iran looks really awesome from above and so does Dubai too, once the photogrammetry kicks in. Too bad I messed up the landing, then taxied past my parking slot while trying to find it on the chart…
I want to try it, but I know I’ll be super clumsy with it in the fighter jets. Good luck!
Amazing pics!
Thank you, Captain.
SITE INSPECTION FL47 Bethesda West Hospital Heliport
A week ago I flew over the site where I expected to see Bethesda West Hospital and found only a dirt field:
Bethesda West Hospital was built in 2013 and has a ground level heliport.
After my success at creating a heliport using the MSFS SDK, I decided to revisit the Bethesda West Hospital site in preparation for my next SDK project.
Imagine my surprise when I flew over it today and discovered MSFS knows there is a hospital there now:
Ready for the heliport construction to begin!
Also so cool to have @flightmedic2121 show up in a Cabri G2 (Ouch witnessed my almost-didn’t-crash landing…)
Today I moved away from FBW A320neo to the Fenix A320.
I think the Fenix Airbus is much better to fly and to manage.

Went for a slalom run in the Grand Canyon this morning… The FAA is right to have special airspace rules here; a minute after this I took a bad turn and smashed into the canyon.
starting by a flight from germany to austria ( EDFP to LOIK)
then took the baron to transport few pax from Nice to bilbao
kept progressing in my Lidl USA tour leaving Kansas to tick Missouri
ending my day with the community fligth above Jordan
Flight from LGAV to LGRP. It will probably be the first leg of an around-the-world-attempt (or not).
Flew the A319 From Rochester (NY) to Charlotte (NC)
Going to do a North Carolina state tour next few flights
Hopped back into the Bell 47 after a long while. Glad to see it’s become easier to handle. Only improvements by the makers and Asobo. Will definitely be flying more often. Float version is perty cool and I was relieved to be able to fly under Freaky’s Vincent Thomas Bridge. i normally don’t fly at night as, you all know, I love taking photos. Cheers.
Took the A310 for a spin after months of neglecting from Budapest (LHBP) to Wien Schwechat (LOWW)
Had a rather rough landing, I thought I was still a way over the runway when gears touched down…
Leg 18 around Pacific in DC-3: RJFU RJBB. I could not wish for nicer weather. I stopped in Osaka for Ramen
Not nice weather in Norway (30kn gusts), so I started another bush-trip. This time in Balkans. Again I copy MSFS bush-trip, but with WB-Sim C172 and real weather. Well, the original trip is with C172 G1000, so very similar.
I completed first 3 legs: LDRI LDRO
LDZL
LDSP
First 2 legs were also windy and bumpy around mountains, but still manageable for C172. The 3rd leg was smooth sailing.
That’s nice about MSFS, then weather does not permit me to continue trip, then I can teleport and switch to another adventure.
I flew the AAU2 B747 from Sydney YSSY to Perth YPPH late afternoon. This plane is improved so much, but the xbox was really struggling at the default YSSY, 0.5s pauses every 2s from taxi to in the air.
I had an unexpected issue with parking at YPPH, ground wouldn’t let me park at all. After looking at the parking slot specifications I realised that the biggest stands are for the B744, apparently there just isn’t any gate big enough for a B748 in WA.
So I went on and ignored ground and stole a spot to squeeze it into.
