Boise to Portlandia KBOI>KPDX
On the HOOD4, Mt Hood I presume?

ILS28L at PDX. Bumpy approach  :balloon: flooooaaating down the RWY. Not my best landing but at least I didn’t slam the nose gear into the ground.

How’s my parking?

I love Beyond ATC but when are they going to have the traffic injection working?

From the Street of Dover to London in the morning

Sunrise over the Street of Dover

Over the railway to London

Stopover in Rochester; I missed a windsock

Crossing the River Thames

At my destination (Damyns Hall Aerodrome) I used a runway that was unfortunately forgotten in the MSFS. The wind left me no other choice.

My plan for the afternoon was to fly anti-clockwise around London, although the weather was getting worse by the minute.. At every stopover, the weather forecast was scrutinised with a strict eye. :face_with_monocle:

Over Springwell Lake, RandFailuresFS2020 led to an engine failure - emergency landing! Once I was safely on the ground, the weather improved noticeably. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

We finished the “cross country” portion of our STL to MCI tour today. You can find it at Pee-Wee and Nag’s Sky Tours (and Other Thoughts).

Nothing to see here. Carry on.

Flew the Longitude from Philadelphia (KPHL) to Plattsburgh (KPBG). I forgot to start Volanta, so the best map I can give you is the planned route from Navigraph:

BeyondATC worked quite well, no complaints this time.

By now, it’s obvious I have switched over to stick aircraft for a while. Bought the Moth and it’s a very nice flyer. Did a quick sample flight on the Isle of Wight - next time, I promise to make sure the reg matches the nation.

Hi,

Last night flew from Paris to London, lovely flight but ruined late on as the TLOD restrictions (XBS/4K/PMDG 737) meant central London was dark black until I was on top of it.

The big black area in the picture below is central London - such a shame.

Cheers, Neil.

I was buzzing around Buffalo/Niagara.

I had to go river running.

Dam diving

Bridge burrowing

And play cable car chicken.

Very impressed with the new pg. This water tower must have been finished off by hand (can see when really close), which is great.

The new pg fits in nicely with the Jeppeson modelled buildings.

Not my house. Looks good though.
