What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 2)

Flew the Albatros the old way from Tepic (MMEP) to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo (MMZH)

I tried flying it the Right way, keeping speed limits and all, but it is a LOT harder than with the Vision Jet. Still Mexico looks gorgeous from above, I loved it.

For the first time since MSFS for Windows 95, I flew at Chicago Meighs.

As you can see, real time weather wasn’t that good for VFR, so I switched to Floyd’s mostly clear clouds.

Since kids are on summer vacations, no video producing for now.

I’m actually screaming with excitement right now. I made “front page news” in the Weekly Development Update for the Screenshot Challenge!

Decided to make a trip to Worcester, Ma, (USA), and flew a Diamond Katana around Wachusett Mountain.

It’'s about 40-50 minutes long and is essentially me flying from Worcester Regional to Sterling airport, and making a total mess of landing.

You will notice the difficulties with aileron trim - the “switch” based trim controls are a PAIN.

Then, (just now), I tried a flight UUMO to UUWW - no flight plan or anything.

I decided to try out “live weather” and real time conditions - and it was dark as a closet - which is why I decided to try landing at UUWW (Vnukovo), because it has lighted runways!

Got on the ground in one piece, but doubt I would have passed a check ride. (unless the check pilot brought an airsickness bag.)

I did a flight from Pincher Creek to Moose Lake, crossing both Banff and Jasper National Parks, the best flight I’ve ever done on this sim, undoubtedly. Nearly 3 hrs of pure joy into the nature, many mountains, lakes, glaciers, etc…

Going against the wind is always a tough call when I plan, but one has to run that iconic route at some point. Congrats on the journey!

Did two short haul flights today, Bresia, Italy (LIPO) to Cardiff, Wales (EGFF) and then an evening flight from Cardiff to Faro, Portugal (LPFR).

It was the first time I visited both Bresia and Cardiff.
