Again adapting to Daher TBM 930. This time on IFR at night (which is not my favorite flight condition). I was trying to follow the guidlines at TBM 930 in VR + VATSIM! | ** Advanced Avionics UPDATE! **, but was not much successful.

Did two very different flights in terms of weather. One was a morning flight with Iberia airline’s FBW A32nx flight from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport LEMD Spain to Faro LPFR Portugal, with a low cruising altitude of thirteen thousand feet, was only a short 50 minute flight. Fantastic flight crystal clear skies all the way to Portugal, only started to get cloudy on decent so I could sit back relax and watch as I flew over mainland Spain.
Afternoon flight with EasyJet in the FBW A32nx from Edinburgh EGPH Scotland to Berlin Brandenburg EDDB Germany with a cruising altitude of flight level 370. Bit of a boring flight most of the flight down to NewCastle was mostly cloudy, by the time I got to the North Sea it brightened up with cloud here and there but by the time I got to the German-Denmark coast it was cloudy again with the sun setting. Once I’d flew over Hamburg the sky cleared up so I had a lovey view of Berlin at night and of Brandenburg Airport as started my final course. Only confusing part as to why the sim refers to Brandenburg as “Schönefeld”. Don’t fly to or from Germany that much and if I do it’s normally Frankfurt EDDF or Stuttgart EDDS

The pilot is doing some R & R with other games at the moment. Therefore the A32NX and A339 are in the hangar undergoing maintenance.

This time I was following a video tutorial on Daher TBM 930 avionics to know it better (a very good tutorial, indeed). But, since I did not file the flight plan loading it from Little Navmap, but inserted it directly into the avionics suite, it seems that the ATC was not much aware of my plans. The fact is that it changed landing on 11L to 11R and I missed the approach – I was not prepared to change the procedure at that moment. It was a Goiania-Brasilia flight (SBGO-SBBR).

Almost intercepting the localizer (I had already given up using autopilot on FMS mode)
Final using AP on LOC.
Parking.
But I did not give up. I started a new flight high over Brasilia and prepared myself to insert approach info literally “on the fly”.
Used Floyd’s 3/8 rain and clear preset. So I had mild bad weather.
Reached final on FMS autopilot mode.

Three flights today:

My youngest granddaughter flew the Robin DR-400/100 from Ostafayvo (UUMO) to Domededovo, (UUDD), landed, took off again, flew back to Ostafayvo and landed with minimal assistance from me.

Flew the PMDG DC-6B out of Charles De-Gaul airport in France, got lost, and aborted the flight.
(I got lost on the ground too and had the Devil’s own time finding the runway!) -
Flew the “Paris Discovery Flight” in the Robin DR-400, (the default aircraft for that flight?), toodled around a bit looking at things, and then landed at Charles De-Gaul Airport. I came in way, WAY too shallow and almost took out the runway marker lights leading up to the runway! Well, at least I didn’t wreck the aircraft. . . .
