Personal Comments and Observations
I keep an eye on the files being pushed during updates, and it was all nav data and WH related. I just flew a quick flight and nothing’s changed. I would check to make sure your configurations weren’t modified because of a Cloud Sync issue - that’s usually root cause when settings were modified without user intervention.

In addition to this, I also suggest starting the sim in Safe Mode to determine if the issue is being caused by an outdated third-party mod which needs an update.

What fixed it for me was to create a rolling cache. Game loads faster that way.

I’ve experimented with all kinds of sizes. 120gb is the sweet spot for me.

Yeah, I want to know what’s going to be fixed in the last update before 24’s release.
To add on to that. As “evening” is subjective based on one’s timezone.

Just announced on today’s Dev Q&A livestream that SU16 will NOT be released as scheduled. Delayed because they are waiting on a change or fix from the Xbox Platform team at Microsoft, and that it is now too close to the release of MSFS 2024…
So instead they are working on AAU3, with Inibuilds for the A310, A320neo and PC-6, tentatively scheduled for mid-September.
shocker, another delay. Unfortunate for all, and especially for console users like me. hope these consistent xbox issues get slimmer in 2024 sim

Most of France, Including Luxemburg and Paris are terrible in terms of performance and Paris is just not an acceptable standard in terms of photogrammetry flying in towards the Eiffel Tower vicinity.
I can’t believe we have to suffer for a few more months! Flights are just not enjoyable anmore.
As Jorg explains, they are waiting for the Xbox Platform team at Microsoft to fix something… so it’s a Microsoft delay, outside of MSFS control… Once that fix / change is made available from Microsoft to MSFS, they will plan how and when to release it.
I remember they clearly reassured everyone their intent to support MSFS 2020 with Sim Updates for several years, so it’s coming, just delayed.

Several years? Okay that’s good to know because I have no intentions whatsoever of migrating to MSFS24.
In the last Dev Q&A (which are well worth watching, they answer lots of questions), Jorg reassured everyone they have plans for something like Sim Updates for MSFS 2020 numbered in to the 20s, out to 2028 I think.

today’s dev stream was quite underwhelming and filled of delay notations. But push thru & the next 2 should be a lot more interesting and finally able to see, ask and talk about 2024
