Really not happy with the game’s texture loading, LOD and tile popping issues, photogrammetry issues, inconsistent frame rates

I want to ask the developers how they got everything to look and play so good during the final beta version? How come we got such a noticeably bad public version by comparison?
Are we being slowly lured into getting MSFS24?

Thankfully not.
In the livestream they said they are going to try and have another SU before this fall to improve the LOD and GDK. Currently they think these problems are only on the Series S. Hopefully they’ve done some digging and found it’s effecting all of us from Series X to PC too.
I am also very upset with the decision to make “memory optimizations” by taking away the visuals in the sim.

One thing is what sellers may pretend that happens and another one is what buyers will allow that really happens. In between those two is just the real technical situation of the product and what we all have seen during its evolution since release, so basically the product reputation, and also the marketing and the promises, sure.
We already saw marketing and promises before and this means wonderland, so everything will be amazing and everything will work well. But if I had to decide now based on reputation only I woulnd´t buy anything new.

Sim is fine. su15 was a succes. If you have any problems then raise it as a bug.

Hmmm…
Basically I’d agree, but consider:
This is the company that is trying to force advertisement into your operating system, removed lots of useful features and nearly (as of 2024-06-19) managed to force hundreds of millions of people into having to accept a snapshot every couple of seconds of anything that is visible on the screen.
Go figure.

Sim is not fine. It’s far from it.
That’s why in the livestream we are getting yet another beta to fix all the nonsense SU15 caused.

MSFS 2024 is another significant investment for me.
Before I jump in I’ll want some assurance that I’m not wasting my money - and a great deal of that assurance depends on Asobo’s track record with MSFS 2020, including the standard of QA.
QA is a culture, it’s not something you can suddenly switch on so what you have now will be carried over into the new development. Based on that alone I won’t be one of the immediate purchasers.
And what will help me to purchase will be how well and quickly they fix the LOD issues. If there isn’t any will to get MSFS 2020 I working as it ought to on Xbox, than there won’t be any willl to do the same in the new version.
But I think there are very encouraging signs that there is a will to fix this and WT and Asobo are working behind the scenes to make things better - they must be very aware of the fact that MSFS 2020 on Xbox acts as a showcase for a new, career driven MSFS 2024 so it’s as important for them to get it right as it is for us. It may take a little longer to sort out as they figure out how the GDK interacts with Xbox memory - the RC “fix” was based on user experience/ reports rather than the devs finding a technical issue themselves so it will take a bit of investigation before they can give us a beta….

Didn’t watch the live stream. When’s it dropping?
Sick of the abnormally long loading times after launching the game. In fact, many a times it just sits on the Carribbean update screen with the bar all the way to the right.
I have to relaunch the game. I’d pull my hair out but I sport a clean shaven head

Yes this was the last Dev Q&A live stream at the beginning of June.
From my understanding once they get the GDK where they want it, our LOD and sim will run much better. 
That’s cool.
Any idea when’s it coming ?
Probably after July at this point, I was hoping sooner. I’m thinking August/September but that’s just a guess.
No problems at all with the sim for me. Works beautifully and flawlessly and is rock solid. Everything looks sharp and crisp. It’s never been better for me.
