Yesterday’s Q&A had a lot of good questions and - mostly - good answers. I was even more surprised that the aerial ground tiles popping bug which has been with us for a year now, is very annoying and has been marked as “bug-logged” didn’t find any mention.
May I kindly ask one of the community managers for a short reply? Thank you.
I too would be very much interested in some more information on this tile swapping issue from the development team. It is a real and legitimate scenery problem within MSFS.
It’s an awful bug, for sure. No matter what, this HAS to be fixed by the time MSFS2024 comes out. Obviously, it’s so bad that it should’ve been the sole priority from the day it became an issue, but at very least, this cannot move over into MSFS24.
I was just flying on the Island of Hawaii the other day and saw it was happening there now as well. I could swear that area was fine last time I was there.
I was also surprised about this. Especially when they were talking about DX12 and that it is essentially all good. I could not believe what I was hearing.
Hi, Very very disappointing that a major immersion breaking issue was not addressed during the Q&A, this was my fear with cherry picked questions from the moderators instead of a better organised Q&A with direct questions from the users. Not everyone can be there to chat on twitch and ask directly at the time of the program, so we go unheard again.
Lots of issues generally with this Sim that demand answers but we never get them, yet again another opportunity lost to discuss the main issues in an open manner.
It’s not all perfect this simulator (never will be of course), the Devs need to open up and talk to us about what exactly it is they are doing with regards to game and immersion breaking issues like this one.
Will they ever get fixed before the next Sim? Who knows, we don’t, because the questions don’t get asked.
Thanks.
Because the questions are selective and tend not to focus on systemic issues that they can’t fix. Very disappointed that after soooo long this issue isn’t even acknowledged. Yes, I know, DX12 is still in “Beta”… but how long does Asobo need to beta test DX12…
