a very bad choice of airports, again !
the dev ought to make a survey amongst the simmers before making a decision on which handcrafted airports to be made, most of them already available as either free or pay ware.

Not sure, also think about that there are fewer airports on XBOX. Know that at least Faro and Pico, and I also think Andorra, are not available from 3rd party for XBOX. Bought La Coruna lately though.
Faro is my favorite airport and I’m glad it gets updated. Landed there a couple of times in real life already.
you might be right, my bad. the dev have long deliberately been trying to create an xbox game from a pc sim.
i know my preferences would not matter, but i would humbly like to see Valencia and Malaga as handcrafted, with the latter that actually has long been missing in the sim.
It’s fine. Clearly, a LOD / bandwidth issue as the buildings in the foreground are a lot sharper. Probably just the fact they didn’t give the scenery enough time to load in. It will look better than that if you fly around for a while.
They did some improvements to the AI in the UK update with churches etc, so I’m sure we’ll see some improvements for Spain and Portugal as well. 
I live in Madrid, and was working in Barajas last month (the deluxe version of this airport is so close, even the people working in T4 were unable to distinguish between real v sim screenshots/photos). I wonder if this deluxe version of the airport will now be part of the generic world update?
I couldn’t see the connection with the news this week and the delay either, a little selfish on my part, I know. I’ve always considered the sim a break from reality but respect to the developers and their decision. We remember the victims.
Anyway, bring on tomorrow morning. Let’s celebrate technology, not just flight, to be able to experience this realism was beyond my wildest dreams just a few decades ago. I’d love to see Avila, Salamanca, Segovia, El Escorial, and the surrounding areas of Madrid in more detail. Can’t wait! Let’s see how it goes.

Can’t help being a little disappointed with the airport choices and I’m disappointed that none of the photogrammetry cities include any of the beautiful islands.. Ibiza and palma would have been amazing.
Is this official? Bibao airport is a great one to include. Hopefully with the City update.

Was there not a clip of the Canary Islands? Just wondering why they’d update there and not the Balearics. Maybe they have been updated (resolution wisebut were just not in the truncated clip.

There were clips of many amazing cities, over 100 airports have been improved upon. I’m well pleased!
The video clip looked fantastic. I’m really looking forward to this update. Their world updates seem to keep getting better.

Wow! Breaking news! Asobo has managed travel to the future for first time in Flight Simulator! Yes, Torre Caleido the fift tower fully completed tower 
) doesnt appear in ´WU8 teaser, BUT we can see Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the background of Madrid image.
Surprise! They have modeled the works of their major renovation completely finished! 
This is what it looks like in the simulator so far, it’s the image before the renovation work started 2 years ago, in 2020:

And this is the look that will be finished in the spring of 2023. Asobo and Gaya have managed to move the simulator time clock forward by a year, and it already appears with its finished look in teaser WU8, heh heh.
