Just went back to his stream,he has now lost all control with the hotas.It must be a bug with it.
I hope it’s better on Tuesday.

There is multiple hotas settings. The easier control and default, the booklet is for easier controls (gear, adjustments etc) He must not have changed it in menu setting to reflect those buttons
I almost commented about it. This needs to be looked closer as it can confuse other people, maybe it will be fixed Day 1 or something, or weeks after who knows.
But as a criticism to him, why did he kept on insisting on the Hotas if it wasn’t working? The stream was unbearable to watch because he wouldn’t accept the fact that it wasn’t working. On what is probably not even the final build of the release.
Like… “OK, this controller doesn’t work, let’s just use the Xbox pad and move on to showcase the game.”
Left me with a terrible first impression ngl, though at the same time it reminded me of how the initial PC release went through… Oof.
I was looking at the ‘Xbox achievements’ (which I usually try to get).
Looks like it will take at least 1,000 hours to ‘Platinum’ the sim.

This is not true. I can confirm you can switch dials on PC version using Xbox controller so it would stand to reason you can do the same on the Xbox version.

LOL Ive got 1200+ hours since the sim release, but the game keeps losing logbook entries for some of us, in game currently it says like 230 or so hours, goto Steam and look and its like 1200+. Good luck hitting that 1000 hr mark unless they fix the log book issue.
I really need to think about something else! I’ve read the forum, watched YouTubes. I’m ready. ‘Cooked’ you might say.
I guess in the piloting world, the ability to be calm and patient where necessary is important, so I’d better cool my jets… 
I purchased my Xbox series X mostly for flight simulator. It’s been painful (and joyful) following the development of the simulator throughout the past year while waiting for the Xbox version

I saw this look on YouTube at the Xbox Marketplace.
It remains conjecture how full the marketplace will be (unless you know different). The video shows an extremely bare-bones marketplace which may be just a ‘preview’.
Yes, I presume that the marketplace has not been “activated” yet due to the game not released yet.
That being said, several third party developers have been advertising that their products will be making their way to the XBOX edition so the marketplace will grow over the next few weeks / months.
I just watched a YouTube video regarding the Xbox release and the reviewer said three drawing distance is nerfed for Xbox. Is this true?
After years of tweaking, upgrading and many hours of frustration, with some fantastic hours of flight, as soon as I can get an xbox x, I will be in my happy place.
It sounds so wonderfully simple, although I will miss msflyingschool for the xboxX.

Maybe for Series S… I saw some of obsidianant’s videos where he commented on some pop in on the series S.
For the X however it was trees as far as the eye could see in the stream I saw and he mentioned as much himself.
Which developers did so? Maybe we could compile a list?
There are quite a few - but the one’s that I have heard of include) ORBX, PMDG (want to move their products to the marketplace eventually - may be usable with XBOX). There are probably many others, but I haven’t found a list online.
ORBX even have an XBOX trailer!
Which Trackball do you use? I have the Logitech MX Ergo, connected to both my PC and my Series X and since the chromium EDGE on XBOX now has mouse support, i’m really having a blast as couchsurfer 
I also use this one, to be specific it’s the Logitech ERGO M575 Wireless Trackball.
