First picture is one I took at Lakenheath last year so to have the Heritage D-day livery in the sim now is fantastic, absolutely loving flying this beauty so endless thanks @DEAN01973 for bringing it to fruition and in VR it’s astonishingly good my all time favourite aircraft ever!!
Cracking photo in that first shot!
This is interesting. Are you seeing the tearing of the display in TAA mode? Or are you saying that it’s working fine in TAA mode? I’d love to know if there is some solution to that, that you might have stumbled across in some way
I painted an Alaska Eagle:

i’m saying that it works fine in TAA and in 4K
I see no tearing,no blur and yes,i see all numbers clear
EDIT
No solution.I have done nothing and i couldn’t if i wanted.
As for the G grunting, no one is stopping you from grunting all you want while flying the F-15! LOL.
Black/red outs and perhaps the grunting/breathing might be nice options IF they could be turned on/off, ideally independently. Mostly things I prefer to fly without, but might use them at times if an available option.
I don’t think there’s any inherant issues with mods going into the Community folder for aircraft in the Official folder. I only have one aircraft purchased in the marketplace and have no mods for it. But I have tons of mods in my Community folder for aircraft in the base, deluxe and premium MSFS that reside in the Official fold without issues.
I used to get tearing with TAA in most circumstances, but at some point things got a lot better, I don’t notice it now EXCEPT zoomed out, then the tearing/smearing is problematic. Seems the size of the graphics on the HUD is an issue. Maybe if the width of the lines/text could get thicker at wider zooms that would help mitigate the issue? I also fly at 4k 99.9% of the time (Yay! RTX3080!!).
Our separated thread for the mod is opening its doors
I honestly thought that first picture was taken in sim.
Great shot.
@DEAN01973 Any word on AI/Multiplayer sounds yet? Longing to hear this baby flying around by other users.
it seems not possible tonight, one more time. Servers are down.
Tomorrow i hope so.
Lucky to have flighted last before crash
Lots of fun with this plane but not fully impressed with the textures on the model and cockpit all the cockpit textures looks a bit better after the update it does not match the quality of some of the payware planes I own like the MB-339.
Never the less its a fun plane with great sounds.
This is just a quick proof of concept with some borrowed code from evanburnsdev F-22 project (maybe ask him how it works to make this kind of HUD). HTML/js HUD in TAA mode. https://youtu.be/cGZ3PHdDZGE ( btw a huge FPS improvement too)
He also uses other avionics in his project (MFD’s) https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/f-22-project-working/
Sound guy knows it’s an issue and is working on a fix, hopefully should be resolved by the next update.
Thanks for the link! Yes, it runs and looks much better doesn’t it. I might drop him a PM about it, but I can already hear the DCS button-pressers saying “Ridiculous, looks nothing like an F-15 HUD display, is this guy an idiot?!” blah, blah, etc, etc.
Custom coded, accurate looking displays is what I need here, most devs are seeking out folks with the skills to achieve it. Sooner or later we’ll figure it out
Its probably 3 times the amount of code, but it pays off in cpu/processing power. My understanding is the xml parsing is considerably slower than html/js. Might give you a decent in cockpit fps improvement if you get some js/html gauges in there too. Looks like a few people have figured out how to make them! If I figure out anything worth while I’ll give you a shout.
Is there a way to assign a button for the HUD Power ?
Can’t find this option under the CONTROLS menu
Thank you
HUD switch is on the main HUD panel in the C/D, and just below the main HUD panel in the E/I Eagles. It has a tool-tip and a text label, so if you hover your mouse over the switch it will say “HUD Power”
