I’m not new, but I should introduce myself. You can call me Mike. I’ve been called Glide, Oldpond, GL, and SwampyOrchid. I am a private pilot and drone pilot (Canada requires registration). I was with the 87th Stray Dogs, once upon a time, but I don’t fly online except here in MSFS. Happy flying all!

I love aviation and haven’t ‘simmed’ since i was a kid. So basically a newbie all over again.
I’m currently do a UK coastal tour challenge. I started in Manchester (EGCC- as this is my local airport) but i am currently in EGHQ (Newquay), so i am just about to cover the southern coast including the white cliffs of dover!
Its nice to have found this group.

Hi, you can call me: Rich
I am playing Microsoft Flight Simulator on: XBOX
I want to try flight simulation because: I love aviation, especially military aviation.
I’m most interested in learning about navigation, ILS in Microsoft Flight Simulator: 2020
I would also just like to be able to learn from others and fly around and chat.
Hi folks. I’m Jemma AKA StoryGirl/StoryGirlOz on most gaming platforms.
I’m a middle-aged Aussie flight simmer who has been deep diving into the world of aviation for the last few months and I’m waaaaay down the rabbit-hole.
I’m about halfway through the VATPAC S1 course, starting to jump online on VATSIM and in under 300 hours in game have gone from GA flying to full IFR in airliners, dipping a toe into the Virtual Airline space and building comprehensive ERCH flight plans using airways. I’ve also started building a library of AIP chart libraries for various regions. Yes - I’m that much of a nerd.
Any questions, feel free to ask. ![]()
EGNX is my local airport, but i spend most of my time around EGXC.
hi gloomy!
sorry only just replying!
I am using the cessna 172, the fact it has the G1000 equipment makes the flights so easy to learn how to fly, which will be good for when i use bigger aircraft further down the line.
Have you done any tours/challenges at all?
