As a real life paraglider i must say incredible work. Thermals are working not bad with Kinetic assistant. Well done!
Today with costom weather at Balzano.

I love this plane man. Followed your advise and flew from LSGR on the Alps summer preset. Had a load of fun climbing up some mountains, with the Tobii eye/head tracking it’s even better. Great job to you and the team. It’s amazing.
I flew the Mach loop in the Discus yesterday..probably the slowest circuit I have done there,
.
“Probably” hehe. Did you walk it once? ![]()
Really a wonderful glider. I am immensely enjoying it.
I do have a question regarding the compas. It seems to be a conventional ball compas. In such case shouldn’t it turn the other way around having the numbers in the reverse order? Or did you model an electronically driven compas?
Certainly is very addictive, nothing else been out of the hangar for quite a few days now.
Here’s a challenge. Trento to Innsbruck just following the Brenner Pass autobahn, summer alpine conditions, no map. Not particularly difficult but the need to gain height means the motorway is not always easy to spot and there are a couple of forks so you need to have memorised which way to go
FRIDAY SOARING CLUB MEMBERS:
Disregard the last event posting. We will be flying out of Lesce Bled Airport next week. Instead we just had a very exciting opportunity come up, and it would be a shame not to support a fellow Scenery Developer without officially hosting a Release Event!
Olivier Dubois has been working hard to bring us the OD Gliding and Soaring Club. He will be releasing this handcrafted scenery on FlightSim.to by Friday’s event! Not only would we love to support his work, but as this being Event #1, we could very well start an annual fly-in at LSOD for the foreseeable future! Amazing work and I’m excited to see you all there for the event.
We will be flying out of LSOD Airfield. Make sure to haul in your Discus-2c, DG808S, or AS-33 for this event. The area is extremely mountainous and the Airfield itself is residing on a plateau to the east of the “glacier de la plaine morte” in Switzerland.
Be sure to bring some coffee, cocoa and hot soup! It’s chilly up there!
Make sure you download the LSOD Scenery for free at Flightsim.to! Without it, you’ll not be able to spawn on deck and mingle with other pilots.

See you Friday!

oww, I might have to join in if I have the time ![]()
Just wondering what stick you are using for force feedback. I’m used to sim racing and just getting into flight sims…mainly because of this glider, which is awesome, and would love to have a more immersive experience being able to feel the turbulence, stalling and other sensations.
Thanks.
Logitech G940. If you can find one, it is very good.

Looks great, but I cannot find how to assign some axis on joystick to airbrakes on this Discus. What feature it is in list of assignable items please?
looking great, any idea when this will arrive on xbox?
I believe Spoilers is what you are looking for.
I’m not sure there is an axis, I’ve assigned a joystick button to toggle the spoilers
There is a spoiler axis you can bind.
I’m often use slew mode (Y) now as suggested in Developer Mode - Add Altitude to Teleport - #4 by thealx2901 unfortunately when disabling slew mode this glider have no initial speed. It will be great to have a speed greater than stall speed when disabling slew mode (1.3*Vs0 will be good). Unfortunately I don’t know if that’s a MSFS problem or a third party aircraft problem.
See wishlist Disabling slew mode should set initial airspeed when height is greater than 0
