I am having issues with the program changing my radio and transponder freqs instead of waiting for me to change themâŠMSFS quit touching my dials.

I disagree. While the âbacklashâ is indeed large and loud, there is nothing new about that. I was expecting it, and if it hadnât happened, I would have passed out from shock. And then when people say things like âmost of the communityâ, I just have to shake my head. Itâs probably as abused of a term as âunplayableâ. Unplayable means it wonât start, or when it does, the GPU is putting out frames so slowly that they can be measured in seconds per frame rather than the more traditional frames per second.
The same is true of the âmost of the communityâ comment. Itâs not âmostâ. Itâs not even close. Itâs an extremely small percentage that is able to squeak loudly enough that they get the grease. Most of us are out here flying the amazing sim made oh so much better, and have nothing at all to complain about. Why I torture myself by even hanging out here during these times when I know exactly what Iâm going to run into is a mystery that will probably never be solved. If youâve been around this forum as long as I have, you start to notice the same people showing up after pretty much every patch with a long list of grievances.
One last comment and then Iâll drop it. For now anyway. I think @GhostlyFrend is spot-on when he intimates that many problems are self-inflicted. People that refuse to turn off their overclocks, who are too stubborn to remove their add-ons, and many other issues that frequently have easy fixes, but they just wonât listen. They have their reasons, I suppose, but I have no idea what they are.

Exactly @Riverrover , and to the guy above, when you fork out $2000 for a RTX 3090 to play the game in all its advertised glory, plus the addons which improve the visual quality of the product, the community have every right to be annoyed when you get an enforced graphics nerf so it can be ported to a console.
(not to mention those that bought VR headsets, TrackIR and new monitors etc for this platform).
I think in the AI menu is a switch to disable this.
I checked the AI menu but could not find any thing that looked related.

My problem is that as soon as I take off the transponder changes code by itself and I had one instance where I chose an airport in flight and it automatically changed my comm frequency.
I want to manually perform these tasks.

If you think colours are washed out go to cfg file and change the colour grading to 0. That should do the trick
It could be a setting somewhere else if you want to set the transponder yourself, automatic setting from this stuff is a feature since FS2002 and actually not a bug .

Ya know, I will say, I was a bit peeved myself when it came out. I had literally 8 crashes in a row; the sim simply did not work. I couldnât fly. I had my freakout, posted some nonsense on here, vented. Got called out (and rightfully so) by a mod. Apologized to them. Got myself together. And now we see that within what, 36 hours there is a hotfix? And I know that theyâve been working on a few of these things since before the release, they just didnât make the release.
Iâve said it before and I let my frustration get the better of me today, but Asobo is on the ball. Sure, this was a foul ball, a missed PK, however you want to put it, but they are working hard and they got this out to us pretty darn fast.
I get the frustration, I really do. But Asobo has our back. They are really doing their best. And for all my bellyaching, I appreciate the hustle.

Releasing a HF within 48 hours to all users, that is an indication that indeed there is something critically wrong with the GA release. It is not because ppl complain for no reasonâŠno add-ons installed for me and itâs just annoying, read the Release Notes you want to put up with that⊠Like controls not working, FC to desktop, etc from what should be a mature product after 1 year and what has a beta test program. These guys now know their regression testing has been bitten by the push to move to Xbox this month by a VP/Exec type over at MS, trust me I worked in a big software conglomerate like this and â â â â like this happens to DEV team all the time.
