I would consider that if the Exclusive Series becomes expansive, it is possibly deserving of its own thread. Until then, my vote is to keep this to more rigidly-defined first-party products.
removed it based on requests.
Personal Comments and Observations - I am part of FFX in another role
I think your postâs original intent is to document âMS Commissionedâ aircraft and your list reflects that theme/commonality.
Citation X is definitely not one of those - FlightFX evaluated the choice for potential development, and funded that wholly and independently.
Yes, sort of. My intent was to understand and organize a list of aircraft (and links to info) included with MSFS - or only available from Microsoft - to get my head around how many were in good condition, and make it easier to browse the fleet. My criticism of MSFS at the moment is quality vs quantity. Thatâs where I started, just a list to make sense for myself.
Secondarily, I decided to post it here, to make it easier for others to browse the planes, test them, and try to get more people to test, give feedback, and hopefully push for more updates of the fleet.
Since this new Exclusive Series seems to be only available from Microsoft - and Iâm not sure most users care how many or which development partners are involved - I thought it made sense to include them (just one at the moment). But since most people see the Exclusive Series category as 3rd party regardless of the availability, I removed it.
Glad to see an update to some first party planes today.
Hopefully more to come soon!
Yeah I just saw this, I think its awesome. Iâm waiting for the Skyvan.
There were some updates to the Boeing 707 and the DHC 4 Caribou with in the last couple of weeks. But they are not mentioned in the changelog or did I miss an earlier one?
We have had 2 groups of updates to first party aircraft in the past week or so:
On Dec 4, 2025, we had 10 first party aircraft updated (link in post above)
Today on Dec 8, with the release of Sim Update 4 v1.6.32.0, more first party aircraft received updates, as promised by Jorg Neumann in the last Dev Q&A video:

Todayâs release notes are quite long, in 6+ posts:
Absolutely outstanding Gimbal
Hello,
Should the Bell UH-1H Huey by Toagâs Hanger be added to the list ?
Edit : And the XB-1 ?
Added
- Boom XB-1 (with Sim Update 4)
- Bell UH-1H Huey (Standalone, part of the Stranger Things addon),
- Northrop T-38A Talon (Famous Flyer 13).
Note, itâs becoming harder to know which aircraft are âfirst partyâ since Microsoft is now contracting / partnering for aircraft development. Iâm going by aircraft that have an official poll thread.
I think thatâs a great yardstick - I believe they will only offer official polls for Microsoft published aircraft, so those are also ones you should see âMicrosoftâ in the name of the creator on the Marketplace listing (âMicrosoft/Blackbirdâ, âMicrosoft/iniBuildsâ, etc.)
Added Local Legend 23 - Fokker F27 Friendship.
Not to be confused with Local Legend 2 - Fokker F.VII
Also worth noting, AAU4 (to be released with Sim Update 5) will include free updates to 5 of the payware aircraft, to make them 2024 native:
- ATR 42 and 72
- Antonov AN-2
- Fokker F.VII
- LatécoÚre Model 631
- Savoia-Marchetti S.55
In todayâs Dev Q&A Expert Series 02 and 03 were announced and added to the top post, more details will be filled in once available.
- Expert Series 02 Piper M600 by FSReborn (expected June 2026
- Praetor 600 by Microsoft and Working Title (expected Nov 2026)
Details in todayâs Dev Update Post April 15, 2026 and Livestream on Youtube at 1:12:21 and 1:36:40 respectively
Also iniBuilds developing the CAC Boomerang as Local Legend 24 to come with World Update 21: Australia.
You may also consider to update the dev/partner. e.g. A-10 is taken over by Miltech, EC135 by Asobo and H225 by inibuilds.
Some updates to 40 first party aircraft are included with MSFS 2024 Sim Update 5 (v1.7.27.0) released today (April 30, 2026).
