I really hope that different seasons would be in the sim. It would bring a lot more to the immersion when you can have accurate texture changes depending on month and place. I hope to see autumn colors and white winter in near future.

Swell and waves modeling using Meteoblue data

Meteoblue has plenty of wave data parameters in the weather data provided through their website. I suggest that data is used to drive wave modeling in the sim. Maybe something like this: Use swell height data from Meteoblue to create ocean swell. These will be smooth, long waves that are independent of wind, probably mainly done with bump mapping Use the wind data already present in the sim to create waves. Invite Rod Machado to Remake The Flight School Training For MSFS2020

The training school of the sim is so limited and boring. The flight school by Rod Machado in FSX is such a good tool to start your quest to learn to fly. Rod is a great instructor, his books are amazing, his aviation knowledge is superb and hes such an amusing person. I think it would be a nice touch to the sim, and will make the new simers so much better virtual pilots. Take care. [image]

Historical Weather

Historic Weather (as second timeline)

Hello, what I would love to see is a historic weather function with a timeline parallel to date/time. “Live” mode: weather matches real-world date/time “Historic” mode: weather matches date/time of simulator “Decoupled” mode: weather matches any date/time selected for weather (when available) This would give really cool control about weather being used and date/time of the simulator being used. Search-and-rescue challenges & adventures

Would be neat to use ADF gear and so on. Night vision. In mountains. Over water. Watching for flares. Goals can be to just fly over, or maybe have to land nearby then take off and return to airfield. Ambulances at airfield. Great work Asobo et al.!

Missing Career-Mode/Passengers

I think it’s been long over due. We need the ability to have some kind of a Career-Mode like in ETS with different tasks at hand and from different HUBs. This could be implemented with different pre-made scenarios as well as customizable/random scenarios for when flying offline, in multiplayer sessions and through different networks like IVAO/VATSIM. The premade scenarios could be flying tourists over cities for VFR sightseeing tours or bush flying etc. like some of the missions we had in FSX.…

I can’t help but be a little, dissapointed? with the functionality of the ingame ATC at present. I recognise that it’s perhaps not the simplest thing to implement, but i’m surprised to see they’ve used a lot of the legacy code for this area. Having seen and used a lot of the Azure tech stack and what it can do, I feel it’s maybe a bit of a missed opportunity to showcase some of the language AI features - like being able to speak back to the ATC with a mic and have it run through Natural Languag…

Play as a Tower Controller

I can’t be the only person who thinks that the option to play as a tower controller in FSX was a pivotal part of the experience. It gave the general community a common goal, allowed people to work on their tower coms, allowed people to cooperate in a multiplayer fashion and in all generally make a realistic flight simulator experience.
