Little trip from John Wayne / Orange County (KSNA) to Las Vegas (KLAS) this morning:
John Wayne terminal looks great with the KSNA mod I found on flightsim.to!
It was mostly overcast throughout the LA basin, so I had to stay low for VFR:
Clouds opened up near the mountains above Pomona, allowing me to cross into the desert:
Picked up I-15 and followed it the rest of the way, cruising at 5,500’ MSL:
Popped the -12 degree cruise flaps, but currently the reduced drag is not simulated so they don’t actually increase speed. ;_;
Found some solar collectors on the way to Vegas. IRL the center columns are very bright, as the mirrors direct sunlight onto them:
Vegas, baby!
Was directed to land on 26L; one go-around because they put me too close to another plane. Landed on the second try, parked in GA parking off in the corner.
Flying the Longitude over Japan on my Series S.
Fall Season in Germany: Available next week.
I hope not.
So far all we had this summer was rain and more rain.
Still hoping for some sunny weather this summer.
