A bit poor in new additions.
We tend to see more military planes coming to MSFS 2024, all the while, some aircraft (the CRJ), are available but not in 2024 because there is no explanation why the updates are taking so long. If people want to fly military fighter jets, go to DCS. And update the planes people want to fly. Disappointing update again (10 weeks with no CRJ)
Iâm concerned that their âBugs MSFS 2024 - Lifetime - June 04,2025â list is not updated or complete. One issue I and at least 231 others are experiencing, is tagged âNo reproâ in their Update Blog. However, itâs marked bug-logged" in the Bug Reporting Hub.
Some people canât play DCS. Especially Xbox players. Plus it gets expensive very quickly. The base game might be free but add-on planes are at least $50. Maps are at least $30. Campaigns need both planes and maps, and it can get expensive very quickly. You might as well buy MSFS 2024 standard for the price of 1 DCS plane. Plus the good military planes are reasonably priced here in the Marketplace.
One important thing is that the worst developer in the MP, MScenery, releases A LOT of VERY bad military airplanes.
Exclude those and all the Captain Sim livery packs that they listed as aircraft* and youâll see that there are really not a lot of new things in the sim at all.
*Of course, CS didnât bother to learn that in 2024, liveries are listed under Customisation, not Aircraft like in 2020. That bit of laziness shows just how much they care about their craft.
Itâs always the same spamming junk from MScenery, VA systems and Captain Sim
2024 would be much more enjoyable if we could have decent 3rd party content, but at the moment itâs â â â â content in a buggy sim a double whammy
You are mistaken.
The âMilitaryâ looking releases in the Marketplace in this weeks âaddonsâ are digital models intentionally released into the marketplace (IMO) to foster resentment in the MSFS playerbase, as your post demonstrates.
People that want to fly âMilitaryâ style addons probably donât purchase the flood/chaff of addons you see this week - and for the past 4 years for that matter. (except for 3 notable exceptions, and maybe only 1 choice for some enthusiasts)
The video of the storm was cool but it needs some work of course.
Other than the tweaks and toning down the lightning bolts I would like to see some sheet lightning as well - that would look really cool and it is a more common type of lightning.
Also the wind should be stronger and the rain more widespread (as it gets carried on the wind) and there should be wind preceding the storm.
It would also be great if the flora reacted to high winds more.
This is a decent resource.
The âstateâ of the marketplace really sums up the âstateâ of the product.
That would have to be the record for the most mscenery products released at once!
Also still waiting for the updated FS2020 bug-list that was mentioned in the May 2025 livestream, and that was meant to be included in last weekâs developer update.
Waiting, waiting, waiting. I feel all everyone does at this point is waiting. Waiting for more sim updates to get the sim up to scratch, waiting for plane updates, waiting for new releases.
Everyone is in a holding pattern at the moment, it feels like. Whereâs the CRJ? Where are the Arrows? When are some of those Local Legends and Famous flyers going to be updated, if at all?
Waiting for PMDG, waiting for Fenix BFU, waiting for sceneries to finally be compatible.
You need to be very patient to be a simmer at the moment.
Unless you like your night lights or trashy fighter planes, of course.
Another week, and still the developer remains hidden on FS24 Marketplace products. There are a slew of military aircraft this week. I love military aircraft. Are any of them good? I suspect I know the answer to that, but I canât confirm because the developer is hidden. It shouldnât be hidden in-game and it shouldnât be hidden in the update. Itâs a disservice to customers and good developers alike. This does not make me want to buy FS24.
Xbox users aside, you can fly any DCS aircraft for free for up to 2 weeks. Then you could try another one for 2 weeks. You can try the entire catalogue for free. Then, 6 months after you last tried an aircraft, you can try it again for 2 weeks. Lots of fun to be had for little monetary outlay.
They also have sales every few weeks when many products are half price. Itâs not the cheapest simulator if you want everything, but itâs also easy to keep the spend quite low. Thereâs no initial outlay for a base sim.
Since they added free-to-try, Iâve yet to actually try any. I still have a couple of modules Iâve barely touched, and I only have 4 or 5 in the hangar. I love DCS, even if Iâve barely touched it the last few years. For some reason, I keep battling on with MSFS and all its flaws! ![]()
Nope. 10 characters.
I suspect I know the answer to that, but I canât confirm because the developer is hidden
What are you talking about? I can see the developer perfectly on my Marketplace when I hover over them. Also I see plenty of good military aircraft on the Marketplace. Just be prepared to pay a little
but itâs worth it. Theyâre all in my wishlist when they go on sale. I even own a couple. Just keep looking and use the filters. donât let what you first see color your entire experience.
I agree. The marketplace is annoying to navigate and lacks pretty much every sort of content. Awful.
In the absence of an âofficialâ updated FS2020 bug-list, Iâve gone through the âbug-loggedâ topic and captured every item reported or updated under the âFS2020â tag in the last 12 months. Out of nearly 130 items, here are the top 25, including when they were reported, and how many votes each has so far. Note that I didnât READ every thread, only noted the reported date and vote count.
Itâs entirely possible that some of these issues have already been resolved, or that some are actually FS2024 bugs that were accidentally tagged with FS2020. But I know most of these bugs are still present in FS2020, including in the SU16 beta. (The âMSFS 2020 will not shut down fullyâ issue IS fixed by the SU16 beta.)
Also note that I obviously have no idea which of these items are being âworked onâ or âunder investigationâ or anything. Weâll need to wait for an official update for that information.
I donât have FS24. I am interested, but not until itâs ready for release. Also, I am paying attention to the Marketplace to see aircraft of interest. So I can only see whatâs posted in these developer updates. There is no reason to have to mouse over to see the developer in the first place, when the developer is clearly and neatly displayed in FS2020. Itâs an extra step that provides no benefit. This is unprofessional, and thatâs what Iâm talking about.
